In flyball, Theresa has three Australian Kelpies currently running on Instant Replay's flyball teams, all of which run under 4.0 seconds. Her 10-year-old Australian Cattle Dog also ran under 4.0 seconds in her younger years. One of Theresa's Australian Kelpies, Phoenix, is a member of Instant Replay's A team, who boast a best time of 15.42 seconds. Her younger dog, Novel, has experienced some confidence issues, but boasts a best time of 3.82 seconds, and is showing promise.
In agility Theresa has proven herself as a trainer willing to challenge herself and traditional training methods in order to make the sport of agility better for both dogs and handlers. Today she has two of the fastest dogs on the competition circuit in North America with Fin and her other Kelpie Phoenix. Theresa and Fin were chosen as members of the CKC Canadian Team to compete at the FCI World Agility Championships in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007. Fin won the second round of the large dog competition at the ESPN Games in 2005, placing 9th overall, and placed 3rd overall in the 26" class at the AAC National Championships in 2005 and 7th in 2007. In 2006 Theresa and Fin made it to the finals at the USDAA National Championships in Steeplechase, Grand Prix and DAM Team. She and Fin placed 9th overall in the Grand Prix Finals and 8th in the Steeplechase finals. Theresa has been an instructor for both Clean Run and Say Yes Camps and currently teaches Agility and Flyball seminars all over North America. Theresa's ability to analyze and improve upon a dog's performance in any sport is what makes her so popular with the students she works with.
